Maintenance Manager

Upendra Singh has had an enriching career of 12+ years, honing his skills as a technical expert of various aircrafts especially in A 320 family churning out happy flyers, brilliant results, & appreciative managements. A self-motivated and dedicated person and successfully worked in diverse work environments. Singh began his career as technician with Air Deccan, the pioneer of LCCs in India. Soon he became a core team member. However, Singh’s fate got him landed with Go Air, which turned out to be a milestone for Singh. He joined the company as Tr. AME and with his dedication and hard work he was included in the lower management soon. However, he took a wise decision to pursue his higher studies from City University London and completed his M.Sc. in Aircraft Maintenance management. On his successful completion of his course, rewarded with the position of Maintenance Manager. While working at a senior position of Maintenance Manager, Singh received accolades from his juniors and seniors equally. His areas of expertise included operating Leadership, Quality Control and Assurance, Productivity improvement, Maintenance & Repair, Cost Control and Negotiations.

After a successful stint post his masters, Singh decided to opt for MBA in Aviation & Tourism Management from Frankfurt University of applied Sciences under the guidance of Dr. Yvonne Zeigler. Singh’s USP is that he keeps exploring best possible ways of utilization of technologies in improving things and adding values to the existing processes.
