Jean-Luc Meiffren is a graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (Mechanical Engineering University in France).
His career path started in 1981 as an engineer at Snecma Laboratory, in the field of materials and testing.
Throughout his years in Snecma Safran, ha has been actively involved in developing technologies for both manufacturing and MRO processes for aero engines.
In 1990, he joined the Center of Excellence for composite materials to lead the development of advanced composite materials for both commercial and military engines.
He then left France to USA to be involved in the setting of a new manufacturing facility located called CFAN in San Marcos Texas and dedicated for aerospace composite parts and assumed the position of Manufacturing & Quality Director.
He became Marketing & Sales Program Director more oriented to commercial engines, then military engines after 2005 developing a long relationship with several countries from Europe, North America to Asia.
Now he is also responsible for International Cooperation as Director for South East Asia to enhance the potential collaboration between companies and other players in the aerospace business.
